What You Need
- Tube-shaped wall door stopper with a rubber cap at the end.
- Screw 4 × 45 mm and wall plug 6 × 30 mm – included in the kit.
- Drill, Ø 6 mm drill bit for the wall, long Phillips screwdriver (or bit with extension), pencil, vacuum cleaner.
Installation Instructions
1. Mark the Mounting Location
- Mark the point on the wall where the handle would touch it when the door is fully open.
2. Drill the Hole and Insert the Plug
- Make sure there are no cables or pipes at the drilling point.
- Drill a Ø 6 mm hole approx. 35 mm deep, remove the dust and insert the plug flush with the wall.
3. Remove the Cap
- Pull the rubber cap off the end of the stopper – the screw hole is underneath.
4. Screw the Stopper On
- Hold the base against the wall, insert the screw through the tube and drive it into the plug until the base sits flat against the wall.
5. Refit the Cap
- Push the cap back in all the way. Open the door and check that the handle or door leaf rests against the cap.
Choosing the Plug for the Wall
Concrete / solid brick: Plug from the kit, Ø 6 mm drill bit.
Ceramic tiles: Drill without hammer mode, starting with a tile bit.
Plasterboard: Plasterboard plug (e.g. butterfly type) or fix into a stud or reinforced spot.
If the handle is higher than the stopper tube, install the stopper so that the door leaf rests against it.
Care
Clean with a soft, damp cloth with water or a neutral cleaner, then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive or alcohol-based products.
