What You Need
- Door stopper with a factory-applied adhesive pad or a separate pad from the kit.
- Isopropyl alcohol or degreaser, clean cloth, pencil.
Installation Instructions
1. Mark the Mounting Location
- Place a floor stopper approx. 5–10 cm from the edge of the door leaf and a wall stopper at handle height. Mark the spot with a pencil.
2. Prepare the Surface
- The surface must be smooth, dry, clean and degreased. Wipe it with alcohol and wait until it is dry.
3. Remove the Protective Liner
- Peel the liner off the adhesive pad without touching the adhesive.
4. Stick the Stopper On
- Place the stopper on the marked spot and press firmly for approx. 30 seconds.
5. Wait 24 Hours
- The adhesive reaches full strength after 24 hours. Only then let the door rest against the stopper.
Choosing the Surface
Tiles, stone, glass, metal, varnished wood: The adhesive holds best.
Freshly painted walls: Wait at least 4 weeks after painting.
Wallpaper, plaster, carpet, oiled or waxed floors: The adhesive will not hold – choose screw mounting if the model allows it.
Install at 15–30°C. For heavy doors or strong draughts, screw mounting is better.
Care
Clean with a soft, damp cloth with water or a neutral cleaner, then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive or alcohol-based products.
